How We Help

Exercise

As well as free-play and activity sessions in our indoor centre, all our full day visitors will enjoy at least 2 trips out (half day visitors receive at least 1 trip out) to help work out their energy for the day. Plus, if needed, Dogs’ Choice Day Care can work with you and your vet to design a suitable exercise plan for your dog if they are unable to join in for too long.

Mental stimulation

We believe that working the mind of your dog is of equal importance to their body, and with our blend of brain games, puzzles, scent work and one-on-one enrichment sessions, your pup will feel the calming effects of being mentally challenged.

Socialisation

Happy dogs and owners

Your dog will love nothing more than spending their day at Dogs’ Choice Day Care making friends and having fun, and with regular ‘pupdates’ provided to all our ‘pawrents’ via our social channels, we aim to make you feel as though you are right there with them!

Our Doggy Day Care Centre

A purpose-built doggy day care centre, created with your dog in mind

Just like at home, here at Dogs’ Choice Day Care, your dog comes first.

We have designed our doggy day care centre to provide an ideal environment that enables safe play, physical activity and mental stimulation, as well as a range of options for your pup to relax and rest whenever they want to.

Depending on the needs and requirements of attending dogs, we are able to create specific areas for interaction or enjoy a fully open plan setting through our bespoke pen system.

We are also situated within a short walking distance of multiple secure dog parks for our off-site trips out, as well as close by to a variety of public transport options (train, DLR and bus), making drop-offs and pick-ups a stress-free process.

If you are keen to come and see our dog day care centre for yourself, please do get in touch with us to book a visit and we’d be happy to show you around.

Daily schedule

How your dog will spend a typical day here!

0800 – 10:00 – Drop-offs and group play

This is when we welcome all our guests for the day and enjoy our first supervised group play session.

10:15 – 11:00 – Morning walkies

Now it’s time for our morning stroll! This gives the dogs a great opportunity to sniff, toilet and stretch their legs.

11:00-12:00 – Learning & enrichment

After working out physically, we head back to the Dogs’ Choice Day Care centre for some calmer play and to get the brain going with the team, as we work on commands, brain games, scent work. We also begin the first round of our enrichment sessions.

12:00-13:00 – Quiet time & half day pick-ups

After all that fun, it’s time to chill out for a bit. This is when we soften the lights and music, put away the stimulating toys and encourage the group to settle on one of our many comfy beds.

This is also the point in which we say goodbye to our morning guests, and get ready for our afternoon visitors.

13:30-14:30 – Afternoon drop-offs & group play

New friends arrive and it’s playtime, with a wide range of toys and platforms free for the dogs to choose from.

14:45-15:30 – Afternoon walkies

Time for another trip out, and another chance to explore the environment around them.

15:30-16:30 – Learning & enrichment

The thinking caps get put back on for another learning through play session, as well as some more enrichment activity.

16:00-18:00 – Quiet time & pick-ups

As a fun-filled day comes to a close, we take the energy down a notch and get the group ready to be picked up and say goodbye to all their new friends.
